FT Tour Drivers
- Graphite: Single $399.00
Product Overview
To meet the demands of golf’s most accomplished players, Callaway engineers incorporated our best technologies into a conventionally shaped, high performance driver. Now you can play what the pros tee up on Tour.
- Higher Ball Speeds for Longer Distance: Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Technology™ creates Callaway’s highest ever ball speeds across the entire face. Precision shaping dramatically enlarges the sweet spot so off-center hits fly longer and farther.
- Confidence-Inspiring Tour Looks: The 440cc head incorporates a deep face with a smaller footprint. Combined with a full length tour hosel, an open face angle and less face progression, the driver has the look at address preferred by highly skilled players.
- Powerful Trajectories: External Web Weighting helps precisely position the center of gravity (CG) to generate long, penetrating ball flights.
- Accuracy, Workability and Feel: Fusion® Technology combines a carbon composite body with a titanium face cup to maximize perimeter weighting, producing a high MOI with an optimized CG for incredible performance and feel.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT Tour Drivers:
Just got the FT-9 yesterday. Went to the range for about an hour and then played 3 holes with it. I've had a Cobra driver for years but have always had to work for control. No control issues with the FT. It came with a Fubuki 63 stiff shaft, and while I don't yet get huge distance, I at least get what I was getting before and it's just about always landing where I aim it. For me, that is a huge relief.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT Tour Drivers:
Went to a club fitting at our range. Narrowed the selection down to the 10.5 Voodoo stiff, slightly open, as each adjustment added approx 10 yards to the result.
This driver was 30 yards longer, due to spin rate improvement.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT Tour Drivers:
I like the size of the club head, which is why I bought it. I assumued w/a regular flex shaft I could hit it. However, I have hit some good shots with it, I struggle to get enough hit to get the ball higher in the air. Line drives seems to be my best hit - the degree of the club (9.5) is the same as I have and I can get that very high when I so desire.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT Tour Drivers:
As a tournament golfer, i know what feels right and what makes up the perfect club. This is it people, the FT Tour. It's got a great shape and nice subtle weighting. I really like the weighting, much better than my previous club. Beautiful ball flight on pured shots, but if you try to just hit a safe driver shot, you will not create enough spin. Another thing to include is that the stock grip is a Golfpride Multicompound, a fairly expensive and very nice grip to include. I would say that this driver is the best "Tour" edition driver on the market right now. Give it a try if you're in the market for a new driver.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT Tour Drivers:
Most people who read reviews read them because they are contemplating a purchase. So I hope this becomes useful, valuable information. I have a FT9 Tour, FT-iz Tour and recently purchased the FT Tour, all of them in 9.5 degree lofts. I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, 87 mph average swing speed. I usually hit it straight or with a slight draw, mid trajectory. Previously when I was using a non-Callaway driver my drives only averaged about 230 yards. The FT9 added about 25-30 yards to my drives and flattened out my trajectory. The FT-iz Tour is highly comparable to the FT9 Tour in distance but the trajectory is flatter and more piercing. The FT Tour is in a class of its own. In my experience the trajectory is much higher than the FT9 Tour and FT-iz Tour but it carries about 20 yards farther and runs a good amount after it lands. All Callaway drivers are extremely long, the FT Tour is the longest. I now average 275 yards. Yes, it's meant for better players but you don't have to be a tour pro or low handicapper to enjoy all the benefits of this fabulous product.
