The original Gamer's cover would shred after 3-5 holes. The V2 is so much better. I have played several rounds with the same one just to see how long it will last. Even with this it has a nice soft feel to it AKA Pro V1. It is not quite the ball the ProV1 is but, for most golfers they won't be able to tell the difference. It is by far a much better value. Unless you can back the ball up "at will" on the green you won't find a complaint.
The feel of the ball is very nice. Hard to describe but, when you hit a ProV correctly it has a certain soft feel to it. This ball has nearly the same feel. And distance is longer. I play this ball most of the time now and save the Prov's.

I just put a diablo edge driver in the bag yesterday and they through in a sleeve of these. I was inpressed with the ball flight off the tee and the way they responded to my wedge play, and they felt great off the putter. I would recomend this ball to anyone, especially those of us who want the response of a three piece ball but put a few too many in the woods to pay $45 bucks a dozen.
