I've been able to keep my distance with this ball, might have improved even though it is not a distance ball. However, the cover still shreds but far less than the older Hot bite balls. It is a great ball that provides everything I personally need.

This is a great golf ball. I love to play titleist pro v1's but i thought i would try something new that had a better price tag. Just played them today and the feel is great, and the spin is also a huge plus, i was getting great backspin and mid irons that would stop on a dime on the green, very good golf ball, i might play this ball for the rest of the season.

Got a free sleeve for trying the FT-IZ driver. Carried the sleeve in my golf bag for two weeks before I tried them. Man, was I surprised. I had been using the Pro V1 ball for their green side feel but the HX Bite really impressed me. Not only that but I very pleased with the distance and accuracy. I do not have a fast swing speed but these balls seemed perfect for my drives as well as green side play.

I found that the ball does indeed bite and hold greens well but I lost about 15 yards off the tee compared to titleist and nike distance balls. If distance doesnt matter it really helped around the greens especially on down hill chips and small greens where its hard to stop!

This is the best ball I hit since the HX Tour 56 Ball. Great of tee (almost drove the green on a short Par 4 with the combo of my Diablo Edge Tour 18 degree Fairway Wood and this ball). I also holed putts from off the green with this ball. Excellent ball for those of us that don't quite have Tour i money.
